The Manitou MT 1840 ST5 is a construction telehandler powered by a 3.6-litre four-cylinder Deutz TCD 3.6 Stage V engine and managed in this application by a Bosch MD1CC878 ECU. The official machine specification lists 75 kW (100 hp) and 410 Nm. This case covers professional file-service work for SCR, DPF, EGR, related diagnostic logic and Speed Limit 25–50 calibration.
The Bosch MD1CC878 coordinates connected areas of modern diesel engine management, including Common Rail injection, air-path control, torque and load requests, and aftertreatment diagnostics. Processing therefore cannot be based on the ECU family name alone. Bosch/OEM identification, hardware and software versions, Deutz TCD 3.6 configuration, emission stage and original file structure are checked before calibration. Checksum correction, calibration integrity and diagnostic dependencies are validated after modification.
The Deutz TCD 3.6 engine family is not limited to the MT 1840 ST5. Official Manitou specifications also list the TCD 3.6 L4 in the MLT 630-115 V agricultural telehandler and the MRT 1845 115 rotating telehandler, while Deutz positions this engine platform for construction, agricultural and industrial mobile machinery. This makes the case relevant to searches for telehandler ECU service and off-highway diesel calibration, but it does not mean that files are interchangeable: applicability must always be confirmed by ECU/OEM number, HW/SW identification, engine configuration, Stage/Tier level and the original read.
Supported working formats include .bin, .ori and .hex. Calibration is completed in WinOLS with the relevant DAMOS or Mappack. Every file is checked individually before delivery, with typical remote turnaround from 10 to 120 minutes.
